Niger Risner’s ‘It’s a Zoo Around Here’ is a form of personality profiling whereby you can find out which animal you and your colleagues are by discovering your dominant traits. With that new knowledge, you can start effectively communicating in your workplace and really make things happen!
Why animals?
It’s fun! Some people do not believe in personality profiling, but when you put an animal to it, you will notice comments such as ‘please do not hire another monkey!’ and people really do buy into it.
So what are the animals?

No animal is better than the other; each have their own strengths and weaknesses, but remember, this is all about communication.
As a Zookeeper, you want to be able to talk to the monkeys like a monkey, lions like a lion, elephants like an elephant, and a dolphin like a dolphin. This will dramatically improve communication and ensure you are getting the very best out of your team.
